work work

Work has been rather busy. I’ve noticed that I enjoy working on performance more than other areas these days (like features). Or maybe it’s because I think it’s what we should be paying attention to more. I further worked on newsfeeds over the weekend, and get them to be significantly faster. one test case showed the avg time to go from 1.7 sec to 600ms. not bad! it could probably be optimized further with some client code changes as well. But for now i think we’ll survive and have other issues to worry about.
